On Davidson St at the concrete path next to the grassland and Central Creek.  The closest street address is 54 Davidson St, Reservoir 3073.

Site information:

Ngarri-djarrang Grassland is the largest grassland in the inner reaches of Merri Creek.  It is considered of state significance for conservation, and it supports critically endangered plant species and plant communities.

Activities:

We will be planting into the gravel garden beds bordering the grassland. The planting will extend the areas planted by Wednesday Volunteers in 2023 and 2024. Our efforts will continue to reduce weeds entering the grassland and showcase some of the special plants occurring along the Merri.

Please bring water, sunscreen and a hat. It's important that you wear suitable protective clothing: long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes. We also encourage you to bring insecticide and familiarise yourself with preventative measures for the Buruli Ulcer.

We will finish work around 12 midday.

MCMC will supply clean hand tools and gloves; however, you are welcome to bring your own.

Please don't attend if you are feeling unwell or have cold or flu-like symptoms.

Any children (under 18) attending must at all times be in the company of, and under the direct supervision of, their parent or guardian.
