Merri Creek Wednesday Volunteers 26 March 2025

Site and activities:

Situated just south of Blyth St in Brunswick East, we will hand-weed this beautiful and popular stretch of the Merri to improve the native ground storey.  There is also the possibility we will do some woody weed removal and pruning.

Please bring water, sunscreen and a hat. It's important that you wear suitable protective clothing: long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes. We also encourage you to bring insecticide and familiarise yourself with preventative measures for the Buruli Ulcer.

We will finish work around 12 midday.  MCMC will supply clean hand tools and gloves; however, you are welcome to bring your own.

Please don't attend if you are feeling unwell or have cold or flu-like symptoms.  Any children (under 18) attending must at all times be in the company of, and under the direct supervision of, their parent or guardian.
