On Wednesday 27 November, we will work at Tree Banksia Orchard, Fawkner.

Where to meet at 9:50 am:

The east end of Jukes Rd, Fawkner.  The closest street address to the parkland entrance is 7 Jukes Rd, Fawkner 3060.

Activities:

We will be spreading mulch around the Silver Banksia saplings to help suppress weeds and promote their growth.  There is also the possibility we will do some hand weeding and watering.

Please bring water, sunscreen and a hat. It's important that you wear suitable protective clothing: long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes. We also encourage you to bring insecticide and familiarise yourself with preventative measures for the Buruli Ulcer.

We will finish around 12 midday.

MCMC will supply clean hand tools and gloves; however, you are welcome to bring your own.

Please don't attend if you are feeling unwell, or have cold or flu-like symptoms.

Any children (under 18) attending must at all times be in the company of, and under the direct supervision of, their parent or guardian.
