Cancelled: Wednesday Volunteers - Friends of Merri Creek

Please note that this event is cancelled due to the likelihood of very hot weather. 

We will be hand weeding at the Tree Banksia Orchard and Manna Gum, Fawkner.

Where to meet at 9:50 am:   

The east end of Jukes Rd, Fawkner.  The closest street address to the parkland entrance is 7 Jukes Rd, Fawkner 3060.

Please bring water, sunscreen and a hat. It's important that you wear suitable protective clothing: long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes. We also encourage you to bring insecticide and familiarise yourself with preventative measures for the Buruli Ulcer.

We will finish around 12 midday. MCMC will supply clean hand tools and gloves; however, you are welcome to bring your own.

Please don't attend if you are feeling unwell, or have cold or flu-like symptoms. Any children attending must at all times be in the company of, and under the direct supervision of, their parent or guardian.
