Where to meet at 9:50 am:     the parkland entrance on Lorne St, Fawkner.

The Lynch Road site is approximately a 7-minute walk along the Merri Creek Trail from the meeting point.   

 

Activities:  Handweeding activities to help improve conditions for the Creekline Tussock Grassland vegetation and seed-production plants at Lynch Road.  Removal of Chilean needle grass and other noxious weeds.  Collection of Common Tussock-grass and Western Golden-tip seed if they are ripe. 

Please bring water, sunscreen and a hat. It's important that you wear suitable protective clothing: long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes. Finish around 12 midday.
 

Please don't attend if you are feeling unwell, or have cold or flu-like symptoms. 

Any children attending must at all times be in the company of, and under the direct supervision of, their parent or guardian.
