Wednesday Volunteers - Friends of Merri Creek

We will be helping reduce the impacts of weed invasion at Bababi Djinanang by hand weeding around recent plantings and removing woody weeds.  We will also visit one of MCMC's nearby seed production orchids to collect Common Everlasting seed.  The seed collected will be used in restoration activities along the Merri in 2023.

Where to meet at 9:50 am: end of Jukes Rd, Fawkner, 3060.  The closest street address to the parkland entrance is 7 Jukes Rd.

Please bring water, sunscreen and a hat. It's important that you wear suitable protective clothing: long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes.

We will finish around 12 midday.
