Friends of Merri Creek invite you to:
- EXPLORE the Merri Parklands in Fawkner by bike or on foot
- LEARN about the remnant grasslands and indigenous revegetation with Tony Faithfull, Merri Creek Management Committee
- DISCUSS plans for the parklands with Moreland Council’s Open Space Planner, Alex English.
By bike: Meet at 1:30pm in Parker Reserve in the car park at the end of Anzac Avenue, North
Coburg. Ride (with stops) along the Merri Path to Moomba Park.
On foot: Meet the cyclists at 2:30pm approx. at Leonard Street, Fawkner and walk with them to
Bababi Djinanang (Jukes Road grassland) – a 10 - 15 minute walk.
