Friends of Coburg Lake and Surrounds

Friends of Coburg Lake and Surrounds formed in 2009 and has planted over 20,000+ plants along the Merri Creek and nearby. We have a number of ongoing sites at and near Coburg Lake that we look after, plant, weed and mulch.  We have two regular working bees, plus run a number of other one off planting, weeding and mulching events. 
All are welcome to join any of our events. Details of our regular working bees are below:

Rocky Outcrop, north side of Coburg Lake

1st Wednesday of every month from 9.30 – 11.30 am (weekly until 21 December 2022)

Ian and Zoe lead the working bees at this site. Please bring gloves, spare newspaper and cardboard (to go under mulch).

Meet at the Rocky Outcrop site, north side of Coburg Lake between the new toilets and the Flying Fox/De Chene park.
