FoMC @ 'Bracken Creek'

FoMC @ 'Bracken Creek' is a local working group of the Friends of Merri Creek focused on restoring, preserving and rehabilitating the Bracken Creek tributary and its surrounds.

The group formed after the COVID lockdowns increased the local community’s awareness of Bracken Creek, a small tributary that flows through parts of Thornbury and Northcote, through the Northcote golf course and into the Merri.

The Working Group hosts a variety of events including planting, weeding, rubbish pick-ups, bird surveys and informative walks.
